so i finished consolidating all my fiction ideas into one database,
then i got really tired with not writing a fiction book, so i started working on an novel that i abandoned in 2016 called "attack on antares"
i was supposed to consolidate all my notes on "how to write fiction" into one database after i finished consolidating all my "fiction ideas" into another database, but i got so eager to write this novel that i put off the databasing until after finishing the novel
i am now almost finished with "attack on antares". a month ago, i decided to upload parts of this novel to kindle vella. but i get no views on vella, so my strategy now is to wait 1 month until i've finished uploading the last chapter to vella to upload the book to the main amazon website. i have to wait 1 month because that's the rules for vella. it goes according to something like this: "you can upload a full novel to the main amazon website if the last chapter of your amazon kindle vella story is 1 month old"
i've also decided to abandon the dictation method of writing a novel because:
1. i can't think at the speed of dictation. my thinking speed is my typing speed
2. there's so many errors with dictating
3. my muscle memory is through typing. if i dictate, i lose all the creativity and fiction writing methodology that i've developed while typing
i've been concentrating on stocks a lot
i have a new way of deciding what to do every day. this method is: whatever i feel like doing.
it's like writercopter, except i'm extending this method to all my daily tasks. it's great. real productivity. no more "ahhh, i HAVE to do this; ah, dread, ah, boredom --> procrastination --> BLOCK". now, i do whatever i feel is fun to do and based on whatever mood i'm in. thanks hillary rettig! reading your nonfiction book on productivity is probably one of the greatest decisions i've ever made in my life.
