I hope the stuff I poop out is actually good. Perhaps, it won't please most people, but I hope there's a subset of an audience that will like it. If it doesn't work, I can always move to erotica.
In other news, I got in a fight with an old aggressive lady. When I was working on my novel, I kept thinking about what she said, and so I ended up writing a very nasty post about her (but it probably won't be read). In hindsight, it probably wasn't the most dignified thing to do. After all, what type of 27 year old male gets into fights with old women, even if they're an asshole? I am hoping i'd forget about this... but man! the bitchy assholish things she said!
I'm doing pretty well in my poker game. getting lucky and it's quite fun. time consuming too. I can really play around with other players nowadays. I hope I can think less of this. This is free chips poker on zynga, not real poker. I don't have the app for real money poker anymore.
One more thing, I've learned an abstraction on what to write. Because books are all about knowing and wanting to know, I've learned that the task of the author is to find out what he should tell his targetted audience, and what he should think his target audience wants to know. In other words , "what you want your reader to know" and "what you want you reader to want to know". all the other tasks of the author, such as characterization, setting, clarity , is ancillary to this main task. There is another task, too : "what you want your reader to experience" and "what you want your reader to want to experience".
All this makes me syched up to the day when I finally get to write galactic dynasties at war. It'll be great, but first I must complete 'stars at war' and 'humanity at war'.
