hey guys, this is an update on all wips i have.
this is for all my fans... (yeah, right, like i have fans after disappointing everyone by cancelling warlord's invasion 2)
(and like, as if people are really following me after 2 years)
so um... my current book, Battle of Sol, is reaching around 70-80% mark. it's really hard to finish it, cause of writer's block. my best days are where i write 1000 words. my worst days -- and there's lots of that -- are when i write nothing. i have 9 worst days for every good day. real slow
my writer's block is unique in that often when i'm blocked, i end up doing something that appears to be writing but really isn't -- which is planning a book. i've planned over 100 books by now, but haven't written any of them. got some real good ideas too, but too afraid to start. typical writer's block
haven't written a word in 'war of the dark mage' nor in 'attack on antares'. they're both at 70% still
and that's it, i guess
writer's block is hard... and devastating... and deceptive... and consistent... and dreadful and overwhelming
i've read some books on battling writer's block and perfectionism and fear and dread
some of them work some of the time
gonna try another tactic. i call it emergency maneuver's tactic. cause if i don't do it, the status quo will remain unchanged
specifically, it's called writercopter, by hillary rettig, gonna go try it, bye!
