So again, here are the things I want to achieve:
1. Write many, many books
2. Be the best writer there is
And lastly (something I just added right now) 3. entertain myself with the lives of my characters
To achieve 1 and 2, the method I will use is to consider the business of writing as a business. Treating writing as a business means I do it regularly everyday and discipline myself, while devoting time to innovations (in order to achieve 2). Innovations (which is important to being the best writer) can be learned through A) writing B) Reading C) thinking.
To achieve 3, all I have to do is write.
Thinking of writing as a business may be boring, but I am reminded of what elle casey said, that although the business of working is boring, you are allowed to dive into the lives of your characters and their worlds several hours each day and that is a blessing. This will hopefully drive away the boringness.

As for the methods I will use to prevent myself reaching certain end-states such as
1. Letting christopher nuttal beat me! (that guy is just a tell machine. In the business of writing, there are such things as "tells", where you stop the action and suddenly tell the reader something. That guy does it so much and so well that he is able to produce such a vast amount of books)
2. succumbing to vices and kilingl my brain
3. thinking too much and not writing
Here are the methods to make sure none of these bad end-results happen:
For 1, I'm just gonna follow the business plan
For 2, I'm going to have to become very strong with willpower and doing what is right and be determined. I am basically going to have to be very "tight" with my actions. Whenever I feel like I want to procrastinate, I should be very tight and go back to work
For 3, I'm gonna designate hours when I think (usually after the hours in which I write), because innovations is still important and thinking often results in innovations
